Habitat Baby hatched early in 2009, when Australian mum Carla Hazzard set about sourcing new bedding for her three young children.  Carla wanted unique, stylish bed linen to compliment the designer look she'd created in her home.  To her despair, she found nothing.

Frustrated by the abundance of mass produced, cartoon clad bedding on offer, Carla set about designing a range of her own. Habitat Baby had arrived!

Growing up with a mum who was passionate about craft, Carla's creative flair has developed since an early age.  From knitting in the playground at school to studying with an internationally renowned furniture maker - Carla has honed her creative skills and designer flair over many years.

After months in development, the first Habitat Baby ranges were launched.  Carla sources fresh, beautiful, 100% cotton fabrics from around the world to bring Habitat Baby designs to life.  Every piece in her unique, stylish range of quilts, sheets, pillows, cot skirts and more is handmade with love.
