You can order at anytime via the internet. General business hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm. Outside business hours email and phone messages are checked and responded to promptly.
Organic Cotton & Thread count
All our linen uses certified organic cotton (by GOTS). Our cot quilts and throw pillows are made from certified organic cotton but due to their eco polyfilling are certified by the organic exchange.
Thread count defines the number of warp and weft yarns per 10 square centimetres of cloth. Thread count in Europe and America generally refers to the thread count per square inch. In Australia and NZ it is more common to refer to the threads per 10 square centimetres. The finer the yarns used, the more threads that can be woven. Basically the higher the thread count the softer the feel and the better the quality.
Good quality cotton sheets usually have a thread count of 200 plus. All our linen is 300 thread count.
What is your returns policy?
We stand by our products 100% and if for any reason you’re unhappy with any of the products you receive, they can be returned for an exchange or credit. Items must be unused unwashed and in original packaging with tags still intact and returned within 7 days of receipt. If the return is not in its original condition, it will be returned and a redelivery charge will apply.
You are responsible for all costs incurred to return goods. We recommend that you use a traceable mode of delivery as we are not responsible for any parcels that are lost or misplaced.
We do not accept returns on fabric swatches, sale items or custom orders.

Payment can be made by paypal, credit card, direct deposit, cheque or money order. Layby is also available when paying via direct deposit.

What if I receive faulty Items or they are damaged?
All items are thoroughly checked prior to sending and are packaged with care. However, if you receive any products that are damaged or faulty in anyway, please contact us within 7 days of purchase to arrange a full refund or replacement.
What if my order is misplaced?
All orders sent by Habitat Baby are sent via Australia Post or via courier. All parcels have tracking numbers so if your parcel does not arrive within a reasonable time please contact us and we will track it for you.
Can I lay-by?
Yes, you don’t want to miss out on your stylish bedding before you’re ready to buy it! A deposit of 25% is required and is non refundable should you choose to cancel your layby down the track. Contact us for more information.
When will my order be shipped?
Items that are currently in stock will be sent within 48 hrs. If you require your order to be shipped sooner, please contact us and where possible, we will fast track your order.
What are your shipping costs?
Orders up to 3kg are shipped for $10.
Orders 3 - 5 kgs are shipped for $15 and orders exceeding 5kg are shipped for $20.
Where the gross weight is greater than the actual weight prices are quoted for the gross weight.
Orders over $400 are shipped free of charge.
Please note our products are dispatched by Australian Air Express and accordingly, require a signature and therefore can not deliver to PO Boxes. If you are unavailable at delivery, your parcel will be left in a safe location eg. your front door (if that is possible). If that is not possible, your parcel will be redelivered the following day.
